MATONA is a small, sustainable family run label for babies, kids and adults. It all started with Katharina making her son’s clothes on her own because fashion should be sustainably and fairly made. Soon, that turned into a business.
As the business grew, the production shifted to Portugal. Since then, all collections made by MATONA are produced in small, GOTS certified factories and are available in selected stores all over the world.
Their philosophy can be described with the words ‚simple, slow and ethical.‘
Simple— the clothing that can be combined easily, slow— MATONA strives to create wardrobe favorites that will live long and can be passed down to future generations, ethical— bringing back the value and appreciation of clothing and producing it ethically and without exploitation of people and the planet.
