Take a look at this cute Baby Down Sweater Vest made by Patagonia!

The Baby Down Sweater Vest has a NetPlus® 100% postconsumer recycled nylon ripstop shell made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution. Patagonia also integrated a PFC-free DWR finish (water repellent without chemicals).

The full-length zipper comes with a wind flap and a zipper garage to avoid painful chin-pinching. To keep your sunshine warm, the vest is insulated with warm, compressible 700-fill-power 100% recycled duck and goose down.

The vest is perfect for layering in colder conditions and the zippered handwarmer pockets come with flat drawcord pulls to keep your sunshine’s hands warm. For a tight, yet comfortable fit, you can find elastane binding around the arms and an elasticized back hem.

Sustainability-wise, Patagonia used recycled fishing nets to minimize pollution. They also integrated recycled down, nylon and polyester. The vest is completely PFC-free (no damaging chemicals) and elastane was used, an elastic and fast-drying material.

Patagonia — a world famous brand that everyone knows. Not only do they produce high-quality, beautiful and active wear. They also committed themselves to use their influence to fight global issues we face today. From taxing themselves 1% of their profit and giving it to the planet to funding activist groups, they are taking sustainable action to make the world a better place.

But they do not only use the money they make, they also live up to their sustainability and morality standards when it comes to the production and consumption of their clothing. They commit themselves to not wasting resources like water and fabric. They promote second-hand shopping and responsible consumption. And they openly show and promote their social responsibility plans and current figures when it comes to the impact of their products.

Obviously, this philosophy matches ours very well and as they also offer responsible, adorable and long-lasting baby and kids products, we figured it is a perfect match!
